Marketing Account Executive — Medical & Aesthetics

About Us
We are a digital marketing agency serving medical, aesthetics, women’s health, functional medicine, and weight loss practices nationwide. Our clients are physicians and practice owners who invest meaningfully in their marketing and expect a partner who can match their authority. We operate Monday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm ET.

The Role
This is a senior, client-facing role. You will own the relationship with a portfolio of medical practice clients and act as the strategic lead across SEO, paid ads, website, CRM, and event marketing deliverables under our bundled programs.

You are not selling. You are retaining and growing relationships with sophisticated business owners by being the authority in the room on digital marketing. Our clients are doctors who are used to being the smartest person in their own building. They will sometimes push for things that are outside scope, off-strategy, or simply wrong for their business. Your job is to redirect those conversations with tact and confidence, hold the line on scope, and explain the reasoning behind a recommendation in language a busy practice owner respects.

This is explicitly not an entry-level position and not an SDR role.

What You’ll Own
Primary point of contact for 20 (full-time) or 10 (part-time) assigned client accounts

Required Experience
You need to be able to walk into a call with a physician and hold your own on each of the following. We are not asking you to build campaigns. We are asking you to talk about them with authority and translate results into clear next steps.

Local SEO
Google Business Profile optimization, posts, and review velocity
Local citations and directory listings
On-page optimization, technical SEO basics, schema, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for AI-driven search
Reading and explaining keyword rankings, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console data

Paid Ads
Meta Ads and Google Ads campaign structure, lead forms, and retargeting
Explaining cost-per-lead, conversion data, and recommended optimizations to a non-technical client
Coaching clients on the ad-spend-to-lead-follow-up loop
CRM & Automation
GoHighLevel (or a comparable platform) including lead capture, funnels, automated review requests, and email/SMS campaigns

General
Multi-account management. You should already be comfortable simultaneously managing 10 to 20 active accounts.
Canva-level graphic design proficiency
Direct experience working with physicians, dentists, med spas, or comparable professional service owners is strongly preferred

Compensation & Schedule
This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement paid on a flat monthly retainer.

Monthly Retainer
Full-Time 20 accounts $5,000 / month
Part-Time 10 accounts $2,500 / month

We are open to both full-time and part-time contractors and plan to bring on multiple hires. Our team is available to our clients Monday through Thursday 9am EST – 5pm EST.

Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses and are not eligible for company benefits. Applicants must be based in the United States or Canada.

What Makes You a Fit

  • **You are not afraid of the phone. You prefer a 15-minute call over a 40-message Slack thread, and you initiate calls when something needs to be addressed.
  • You can push back on a client without damaging the relationship. "Yes, we can do that, and here is what it will cost and what we will need to adjust" is your default move on out-of-scope asks.
  • You are proactive, not reactive. You spot issues, opportunities, and at-risk accounts before they escalate.
  • You are organized enough to manage 20 simultaneous clients without things slipping.
  • You are a self-starter. We are fully remote and do not micromanage. We do expect deliverables on time and clients who feel taken care of.
  • You're Not a Lone Wolf
  • This is a 1099 role, but it is very much a team environment. You will be supported by a full internal team that handles execution across SEO, paid ads, web, design, and automation. Your job is to lead the client relationship and strategy. Their job is to make sure deliverables ship and that you have everything you need to do your job well.
