Analysts are critically important team members who collect and analyze data for NCTQ’s databases. Part-time analysts may be assigned multiple roles, including gathering and analyzing information on teacher contracts and district policies, as well as gathering and analyzing information from teacher preparation programs. Successful candidates in this role are extremely detail-oriented, able to apply a set of rules or protocol to analyze documents; proficient at finding information online; and comfortable reading lengthy documents, including teacher contracts, district policies, state laws, regulations, and other documents, to gather information for entry into our databases.

Responsibilities:

This is a 100% remote project-based, contractual position with no anticipated end date. The analyst is anticipated to work approximately 10-20 hours a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Access to a computer with high-speed Internet, phone, and video conferencing (e.g., google meets, zoom)
  • Proficiency in analyzing data in Excel
