About the Role
We are hiring a part-time Business Development Representative to cultivate relationships with sophisticated buyers and get them talking to our team. You won’t be closing, demoing, or negotiating. We have an in-house team for that. Your job is to work a thoughtful list, have real conversations, and hand off warm meetings to our closers.

This is fully remote and structured around outcomes, not hours at a desk. Roughly 10-20 hours a week, flexible within U.S. business hours. You can shape your schedule around school pickups, appointments, or other commitments, as long as you have enough live phone time during the workday to actually reach people. If you’ve got sales or customer-facing experience and strong communication skills, we’d love to talk. That includes people returning to the workforce or looking for steady part-time work that respects their time.

Who We Are
Our mission is to empower and deliver an exceptional benefits administration experience for our clients and their employees. We provide a refreshing alternative to both the bureaucratic limitations of the industry titans and the “move-fast-and-break-things” disruptors in our industry, with a focus on user-centered design, accuracy, and flexibility of the toolset. Benefits administration doesn’t have to be painful.

What You’ll Do

The Schedule
Roughly 10-20 hours per week, flexible within U.S. business hours. We care about meetings booked and activity completed, not whether you work in one block or three. Core requirement: enough live phone availability during weekday business hours to reach people.

Compensation
$25–28/hour base plus $125–175 per qualified meeting, paid when the meeting is accepted as qualified by your AE. Target earnings roughly $36–42K annualized at target activity. We pay on quality, not volume. The bonus structure is built so that strong, well-qualified meetings pay off, not junk bookings.

Equal Opportunity Statement
We are an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer and is proud to offer equal employment opportunity to everyone regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, and more. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
