Role Overview
You play a pivotal role in our creative process, working closely with our StoryPartners (clients) to transform their visions into compelling finished products. This position demands a blend of creativity, writing and editing savvy, leadership, and project management. By leading a team of StoryArtisans (writers, editors, and designers) as needed during the project, you ensure a seamless journey from concept to completion, bringing projects to life with excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities
Work closely with us to develop and refine their ideas into books, workshops, online courses, keynotes, and other intellectual properties.
Lead the project from initial concept through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process and tracking budgets relative to milestones.
Contribute advanced editing and writing skills to upgrade projects and polish them to final content excellence.
Conduct regular outward-facing calls with StoryPartners, providing feedback, eliciting information, and guiding the project’s direction.
Provide guidance for and coordinate with internal team members, including writers, designers, and editors, to meet project milestones.
Maintain proactive communication and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and editing with an excellent command of English grammar and nuances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in client-facing and team leadership roles.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a fully remote team.
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative spirit, open to learning and sharing new ideas.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Basic task management system skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Creative Non-Fiction Writing, English, or a related writing-focused field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in publishing, writing, education, communication, or project management with a writing focus.
