Entry Level Field Underwriter (PT and FT Positions Available)

  • Part-Time
  • Remote
  • Ends on June 5, 2025

Overview

We have openings for agents seeking full-time, part-time, or second job availability – Set your own hours and schedule, and have the ability to work in multiple time zones and states that work best for your schedule. This is a 100% remote role.

  • The Field Underwriter will work with families seeking coverage, assess their risk, and determine each family’s best coverage options. They will also be responsible for submitting applications and supporting the underwriting process.
  • Warm Leads (TCPA compliant) are generated by our brokerage exclusively for agents (direct mail, call-in, and digital). No cold calling required.
  • The Field Underwriter will provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Relationship building, honesty, and integrity are key cornerstones of our most successful agents.
  • This is a 1099 role. Commission rates start at 80% Annual Premium Value (APV) and go up to 130% APV, plus capital bonuses, equity ownership potential, and 100% all-expenses-paid trips. Once you earn a commission rate promotion, it’s yours to keep; you will not go backwards or have any quotas.
  • Agents earn commissions at their contract level by writing policies for clients, as well as overrides on their entire agency’s issued policies (the differential between their contract rate, and writing each agent in their agency). Commissions are paid at each level, all the way up to 130%.
  • Commissions are paid in advance: 75% upon issuing the policy, and the remaining 25% at months 10, 11, & 12 of the policy. No caps on earned income, and no minimum quotas to maintain.
  • Path to Agency ownership, for those who want to pursue business ownership/entrepreneurship, begins at the 105% contract level with at least 6 total writers in your agency. Agency ownership is TRUE entrepreneurial business ownership; the agency is saleable/willable/transferrable, and can be left to your loved ones as well
  • To confirm that you’ve read through the job description, please send me your favorite movie in the “message” section of your application
  • New agents, Average agents, or Part-time agents can earn an average of $2,000-$5,000 per month in commission by working 15-20 hours per month (equaling ~6 issued policies). This equates to approximately $25,000-60,000 per year. Unlicensed agents with no prior experience are welcome to start part-time, then transition into full-time once they’re trained and ready to commit to a full time schedule. Full-time average agents, on average, earn $8,000-15,000 per month in commission (equaling ~15-20 issued policies). This equates to approximately $100,000-$150,000 per year. (Passive income from your Agency income would be in addition to the personal production averages listed above)
  • Brokerage and Carrier-sponsored bonuses & reward trips can be earned throughout the year. Earned trips are all-expenses-paid, and located in some of the best vacation destinations in the world. For example – my wife, daughter, and I won a trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica for a week in Nov 2024. We were put up in a 5-star all-inclusive resort and didn’t have to pay a single cost
