Job Description:
Do you have an innate drive to connect with people and help them? An interest in meeting prospective clients, learning about their business in a structured way, and helping them discover how writing a book could transform their business?

We have the honor of seeing hundreds of business owners become bestselling authors and grow their businesses as a result. We help our clients write their business book by interviewing, unpacking their ideas/processes, and ultimately writing their books in the author’s voice.

If you have an interest in being the “first impression” that our prospective authors make with our company, making them feel welcome and confident that they’ve finally found the right team to help write their book – keep reading!

We are currently seeking a talented Customer Service Outreach Rep to help shepherd prospective clients into our sales process (no sales experience is necessary, just a willingness to connect with and help people). You will be in charge of meeting clients for a Bestseller Discovery Call, following a structured outline for the conversation on each call, and shepherding the future client to a meeting with one of our Business Book Strategists. In addition, you’ll communicate with future authors using text/SMS messages, as well as LinkedIn (and other social platform) messaging. You’ll be the first person most new clients will ever meet.

Responsibilities:
– Lead Zoom discovery calls to understand the client’s business and book idea.
– Be curious and ask questions that help uncover the value each author delivers.
– Be available during typical weekday business hours to take pre-scheduled Zoom calls.
– Have impeccable written communication skills, so that you can engage future authors in conversation over text/SMS and LinkedIn/social media messaging.
– Coordinate weekly with the sales team to improve communication and results.
– The secret code is 1713.
– Be available for 30 discovery calls (20-min each) per week.
– Present yourself professionally on camera with positive energy, a smile, and a welcoming demeanor.

We are a 100% virtual team (since 2010) with team members in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Mexico, Central America, and the Philippines. For this position, we are only accepting applications from individuals located in North America. You would operate on U.S. Eastern time to facilitate meetings with our U.S.-based clients.
