Sponsorship Sales Account Manager (Remote)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced event Sponsorship Sales Account Manager based in the NYC area who’s able to successfully close sales, while working from the comfort of your home office. As the Sponsorship Sales Account Manager, you will take on an existing set of prospects with the goal of securing sales as well as seek new clients to sell our high-value entertainment event sponsorships. You may also field incoming leads to convert interested prospects into potential clients. And you’ll have an opportunity to learn new industries and expand your skill set in the areas of sales, communications and productivity.

Additional responsibilities 

•       Research your clients’ areas of focus, geographic coverage and goals

•       Discover new decision makers at your clients’ organizations to expand your sales

•       Pitch your clients to secure sale for our events

•       Collaborate with event operations, production, marketing, registration team and company management

•       Progress report on a regular cadence

 

Ideal Candidate

•       Strong sales skills (ideally in events or a related space) with a proven sales track record

•       Great personality, likability, authenticity, and sense of humor

•       Polished communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and satisfaction

•       Exceptional attention to detail, especially in all external communication

•       Comfort speaking with senior executives with confidence and poise

•       Extraordinary speaking and writing skills (including errorless grammar & spelling) and professional phone etiquette

•       Autonomous self-starter able to work well independently and successfully with a remote team

•       Strong computer, software and internet proficiency

•       Able to work productively remotely

•       Organized, quiet home “office” space with the resources to thrive

 

Job details

•       Job type: Full-time/Part-time, Contract (1099)

•       Compensation: Commission based; Five percent (5%) of all secured sales (up to $15,000 for this particular project)
