About Us

We are a growing HealthTech startup. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented accountant/bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis to help keep our financial records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

-Record day-to-day financial transactions and categorize appropriately
-Manage accounts payable and receivable (vendor bills, customer invoicing, collections)
-Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
-Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
-Assist with 1099 preparation
-Maintain organized digital records
-Light administrative tasks as needed (expense reports, etc.)

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting - 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (small-business or public accounting experience strongly preferred) - Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, etc.) - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality - Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Availability during normal business hours for occasional check-ins or meetings
