Job Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Meta Ads Media Buyer & Tracking Specialist to own both paid media execution and the tracking infrastructure that powers performance insights. This role is critical to ensuring accurate attribution, clean data, and scalable ad performance across Meta platforms.

You will be responsible not only for launching and optimizing Meta ad campaigns, but also for implementing and managing tracking systems including Meta Pixel, Conversion API (CAPI), Google Tag Manager, and Cometly attribution dashboards. Your ability to connect ad performance to real revenue outcomes will directly influence optimization decisions and client growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both performance marketing and backend systems, understands how data flows through funnels, and thrives in a results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Execution
• Build, launch, and manage Meta ad campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
• Optimize campaigns daily for CPA, ROAS, CPL, CTR, CPC, and conversion rate
• Structure campaigns and ad sets to support testing, scaling, and clean attribution
• Scale winning campaigns while maintaining efficiency and performance targets
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-converting ad concepts and messaging

Tracking, Attribution & Technical Setup
• Install, configure, and maintain Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI)
• Set up and manage tracking through Google Tag Manager, including events, triggers, and tags
• Map and validate standard and custom conversion events
• Manage and audit Cometly attribution dashboards to ensure data accuracy
• Troubleshoot discrepancies between Meta Ads Manager, Cometly, CRM platforms, and funnels
• Validate tracking across landing pages, checkout flows, and thank-you pages
• Conduct ongoing tracking audits as funnels and offers evolve
• Understand attribution windows, event prioritization, and iOS privacy impacts

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
• Monitor performance across Meta Ads Manager, Cometly, and other analytics tools
• Use attribution data to guide creative testing, audience decisions, and budget allocation
• Identify performance issues related to tracking or data integrity
• Provide clear performance insights and optimization recommendations
• Document tracking setups and ongoing changes for internal reference

Systems & Process Management
• Work with platforms such as GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, Kajabi, Shopify, or similar tools
• Coordinate with developers or technical teams when advanced tracking support is required
• Maintain SOPs for onboarding, tracking setup, and ongoing optimization
• Stay current on Meta updates, privacy regulations, and attribution best practices

Qualifications

Qualifications • 2+ years experience managing Meta Ads campaigns • Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting Meta Pixel and Conversion API • Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager • Experience managing and interpreting Cometly dashboards • Understanding of attribution models and data flow across funnels • Ability to diagnose and resolve tracking inconsistencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Clear communication skills, especially around technical conceptsPreferred (Nice to Have) • Experience managing $30K–$100K+ monthly ad spend • Agency or multi-client experience • Familiarity with server-side tracking implementations • Experience with CRM and lead tracking systems • Understanding of UTMs and traffic source attribution • Experience with Microsoft Clarity or Google Analytics
