Marketing Strategist

We are a boutique brand development and marketing strategy agency. We deliver high quality, creative but practical communications to a variety of corporate and non-profit clients.
Position Overview:
As a Marketing Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that align with client objectives. You will leverage your creativity, analytical skills, and market expertise to develop impactful campaigns, optimize branding efforts, and support business objectives. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to deliver high quality work, ensure client satisfaction and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
–Research, develop, and communicate strategic marketing plans to align with company and client goals.
–Lead the execution of marketing strategies for product launches, branding, and promotional efforts.
–Shape brand positioning, voice, and narrative to target key audience segments effectively.
2. Campaign Development & Management:
–Brainstorm and create innovative marketing campaigns that achieve specific objectives.
–Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines and business objectives.
–Manage client projects from concept through to completion, providing regular updates and insights.
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
–Establish marketing KPIs
–Collaborate with the creative team to refine strategies based on campaign performance and customer feedback.
4. Client Collaboration & Satisfaction:
–Partner with clients to evaluate their marketing needs and deliver tailored strategies.
–Use customer feedback to refine campaigns and enhance client satisfaction.
–Ensure all marketing efforts align with client goals and overarching business strategies.
5. Internal Development:
–Contribute to the development of internal marketing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.
–Participate in strategy sessions to identify sales opportunities and future growth initiatives.
You’ll excel if you have:
–Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field OR proven experience as a marketing strategist, marketing manager or similar role.
–Strong understanding of market research methods and data analysis.
–Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
–Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities and a track record of innovative campaigns.
–Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
And on the tech side:
–Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
–Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
–Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing, search engines.
–Basic graphics skills or ability to learn new software.
–Aptitude for a variety of graphics, project management, CRM and database platforms to get the job done.
–Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
–Strong written and verbal communication skills.
