Marketing and Design Assistant

  • Part-Time
  • Remote
  • Ends on December 11, 2025

Overview

Our job is to get our clients from idea to impact so they can focus on what matters most. We are looking for a driven individual that can help us create strategies for our clients that deliver results.

This role blends light design work (web & graphics) with marketing and admin support. You’ll be working closely with our founder and team members to help bring client projects to life, manage small tasks that keep our systems running smoothly, and jump in where needed to support launches, campaigns, and ongoing client work.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have a good eye for design and can follow a brand style guide
  • Feel comfortable with copy editing and proofreading for website copy, ad copy, etc
  • Are extremely detail-oriented and prefer autonomous work (but know when it’s time to ask for help)
  • Are proactive and resourceful – you look for solutions instead of waiting for direction
  • Enjoy variety in your work and can shift between creative and administrative tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Squarespace website design, edits, and updates
  • Create graphics in Canva for social media, email, and web
  • Update client content in email platforms (Kit, Flodesk, etc.)
  • Support client launches by prepping assets, checking links, and scheduling content
  • Maintain project tasks in Asana and provide status updates
  • Perform light research or administrative support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience with two or more of the following platforms:
    • Squarespace
    • Meta Business Manager
    • Canva
    • Kajabi
    • Kit
    • Thinkific
    • Teachable
    • Flodesk
    • Simplero
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working on two or more of the following project types:
    • Web design
    • Graphic design
    • Marketing strategy
    • Marketing copywriting
    • Launch administrative support
    • Running Meta ads
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace

Available for 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours during busy periods

Perks:

  • Fully remote work with flexible hours (occasional meetings in EST)
  • Opportunity to work on a variety of creative projects
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Room to grow into more advanced design and marketing work over time

Heads Up!

  • This is a 1099 contractor role, not a W-2 employee position. You’ll be responsible for handling your own taxes and any applicable business expenses.
We also start all new team members with a 1-month paid trial period. This gives us both a chance to make sure it’s a great fit – for your skills, our team, and the kind of work you’ll be doing. If all goes well, we’ll continue working together after the trial!
  • While we use different applications to get the job done, internally as a team we use Voxer to communicate.
  • Most tasks can be done on your own schedule, though occasional check-ins or team meetings are held during EST business hours (9am-5pm)
  • Salary range: $30-40 an hour

**How to Apply**
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Applicants who do not follow these instructions will not be considered.
