About the Role
We’re looking for a self-motivated, tech-savvy Marketing and Operations Assistant to help manage and grow a well-established online retail brand. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety—balancing marketing projects, customer communication, and behind-the-scenes operations that keep an e-commerce business running smoothly.
You’ll work directly with the business owner on a mix of creative and operational tasks, contributing to everything from customer experience and online listings to marketing coordination and process improvement. If you’re organized, resourceful, and eager to grow in the e-commerce space, this flexible role is designed for you.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary point of contact for customers across multiple online platforms (email, phone, and chat)
Manage Shopify orders, inventory, and product listings (Amazon Seller Central experience a plus but not required)
Assist with marketing coordination—including email campaigns, product updates, and brand content
Review and improve online product listings (copy, images, pricing, and SEO)
Support daily operations, such as order tracking, returns, purchasing, and vendor communication
Maintain organized records for billing, invoices, and payments
Collaborate with freelancers or partners on marketing and design projects
Use tools like Excel, AI (e.g., ChatGPT), and automation apps to streamline workflows and reporting

Preferred Skills
Shopify management (orders, products, customers, analytics)
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central (preferred but not required)
Experience with email or digital marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Meta, Canva)
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
Strong written communication and light content writing skills
Bonus: Familiarity with AI tools, basic graphic design, or process automation
