The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper who thrives in a flexible, remote environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting multiple small business clients, ensuring their books are accurate and up to date at all times.

Key Responsibilities

> Weekly account check-ins to categorize transactions and maintain clean, accurate ledgers
> Monthly reconciliations and close
> Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss)
> Enter payroll, clearing account, and other journal entries as needed
> Contribute to building efficient processes and documenting workflows

The ideal candidate will be reliable, knowledgeable in bookkeeping best practices, and able to work independently while meeting agreed-upon deadlines. This position starts at approximately 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to expand as our business continues to grow.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals and workflows Ability to manage time independently and deliver work on schedule Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Clear and professional written and verbal communication
