Contract Recruiter
A. Summary
We are an award-winning executive search firm focused on nonprofit leadership, is soliciting proposals from qualified recruiters to identify and recommend candidates for searches. As a contractual supplement our team, the Recruiter will provide research and sourcing support for our executive search engagements with nonprofits, foundations, and associations. The Recruiter will be responsible for generating diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines by using LinkedIn, Candid/GuideStar, proprietary  information, and other online research tools. This hourly, remote contractor will be part of a bench of professionals to support projects on an as-needed basis.

We  invite responses, by no later than November 7, from recruiters with the expertise and passion to provide the services outlined in the Scope of Work. Finalists will be invited to participate in a follow-up conversation. We anticipate a decision to be made no later than December 5, and we will enter into good faith negotiations to solidify an amenable contract.
B. Scope of Work
The Recruiter will contribute to our success by driving high-quality research on prospective candidates for executive-level roles at nonprofit organizations. Each search project is led by a Project Lead (CEO or Directors of Search) and supported by a Search Associate. The Recruiter will collaborate with search teams to provide behind-the-scenes sourcing support, generating robust and diverse candidate pools.
The Recruiter will:
Develop and implement a tailored recruitment strategy for 3-5 roles per quarter.
Identify and source potential candidates through online platforms, professional networks, and referrals through emails, phone/Zoom calls, and reviewing applications.
Conduct initial phone screening to confirm qualifications, availability, and interest.
Present shortlists of qualified, interested candidates with brief summaries of experience and alignment with clients’ identified competencies.
Coordinate communication between candidates as needed throughout the process.
C. Desired Qualifications for Recruiters
Demonstrated experience with recruiting and talent acquisition.
Work experience with nonprofit and mission-driven sectors.
Record of developing equitable and inclusive recruitment practices, including deep care and respect for candidates and sources.
Ability to identify diverse candidate pools and assess for alignment with position requirements and organizational values.
D. Budget Considerations
We have budgeted $55/hour for contract recruiting services and is open to discussing flat project fees with finalists.
E. Submitting Proposals
We are accepting two-page proposals from interested contractors. Proposals are to be received by 5:00 PM ET on November 7, via email to our Director of Search.

A two-page proposal should be submitted as a single PDF in the following order:
Overview of your firm or independent practice
Bio for recruiter who will deliver services
Brief description of your proposed recruitment approach, including examples of your sourcing strategies aimed at creating diverse pools of highly qualified candidates
Examples of relevant placements or similar searches completed
Desired fees and payment terms
Names and contact information for at least two references
We reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. All respondents will be notified of the status of their submission in mid-December.
