We are looking for an Awesome, Dedicated and Empathic Customer Service Representative for a growing e-commerce Pet Brand! (And if you also love creating for and engaging on Social Media – that’s a plus.)
This role is 100% Remote, 40 Hours Per Week (Flexible hours), Long-term Position – Available Immediately

This role is essential to ensuring our customers feel valued and understood, with the goal of providing solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. As the voice of our brand, you’ll handle customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and help guide our customers toward the right natural pet supplements for their pets.
In addition to talking to customers, you will also build powerful connections with pet parents through our various sales channels, as well as on social media.
We are a small company but one that has grown rapidly in the last few years which means that there is always something to do, and plenty of room for growth. Based on your skills and interests you will have an opportunity to contribute to other areas of the business such as creating content, engaging on social media, and more, when customer service demands are low.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) in a timely manner and with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Actively listen, ask clarifying questions, and recommend the best products for each customer’s pet health needs.
- Advocate for the brand and consistently provide exceptional customer experiences, ensuring customers feel valued and supported.
- Be dependable, on-time and able to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints with patience, understanding and professionalism.
- Stay current on our product offerings and promotions to confidently guide customers in their purchasing decisions.
- Handle sales inquiries and assist with order placements, changes, and follow-up as needed.
- Use customer feedback to suggest process improvements and ways to enhance the customer experience.
- Create, document and maintain SOPs and other product templates and procedures
- Be proactive, growth motivated, and a self-starter, seeking out additional work and supporting the team when customer service demands are low.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent command of English (written and oral) with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or e-commerce preferred.
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused, dependable, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, or when faced with tough customers, while maintaining professionalism and high-quality service.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Ability to identify and implement efficiencies in processes to enhance workflow.
- Motivated team player who takes initiative and seeks additional responsibilities when workload allows.
- Be tech-savvy and willing to learn
- Must have – strong internet connection with minimal downtime.
- BONUS: Interest in and ability to create and post engaging content on various social media channels. Digital marketing knowledge and love of social media is a plus
Added Qualifications (Not Necessary, but a Plus!):
- Experience with the backend of Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and Klaviyo
- Familiarity with ReAmaze or other Customer Ticketing Systems
- Familiarity with Slack and Clickup (or similar Project Management tools)
- Experience with various social platforms such as FB, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok, etc. including creating content, posting, engaging with followers, and managing Facebook groups
- Digital marketing experience
- Experience in a veterinary and/or health-related field
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than any prior tech skills! Training will be provided in any tools you are not familiar with.

Position Details
- Hours: Full-time 40 hours/week, 9am – 6pm EST preferred but can work similar hours in a different time zone. (Hours can be flexible. Option to work some hours on the weekend instead of during the week)
- Tools: Comfortable with tools like ClickUp, Slack, GSuite, Social Media and e-commerce platforms
- Location: 100% Remote (North America preferred, open to international candidates with proven C2+ English proficiency)
- Type: Full-time |Report to: Customer Service Lead | Works closely with Marketing and Logistics,
Compensation: Competitive contractor rates paid twice monthly. Discretionary benefits available after successful development period completion.
Our company is headquartered in Canada – pay can be in CAD or US$.
