Overview

Billing Virtual Assistant – Fully Remote

An experienced Medical Biller needed to manage insurance and self-pay billing for mental health practices. Will submit insurance claims through EHR, process co-pays and self-pay credit card payments. Additional tasks may include: generating and sending superbills to patients, communicating with patients and therapists as needed in regards to billing, appealing denied claims from insurance companies, troubleshooting rejected claims, benefit eligibility checks for new patients, tracking deductibles. Must have experience in insurance billing; mental health preferred but other healthcare fields may apply. 1099 part-time freelance position. Start with one client at approximately 10-20 hours per month with the option to add additional clients until reaching a maximum of 80 hours per month. Starts at $23 an hour. US based applicants only.
