This role is designed for someone who wants to contribute meaningfully to a growing business, while keeping family and life commitments front and center.

Position: Part-Time Office & Operations Manager
Location: Remote (with availability on Saturdays during events)
Hours: Seasonal & Flexible

15–30 hours/week during peak season (Nov–Feb & summer events)
5–15 hours/week during pre-event prep or off-peak times
Spring is typically an “off season,” with lighter tasks and flexibility

Key Responsibilities

League Operations & Prep

Ensure schedules, score sheets, marketing materials, and all league-day documents are organized and ready.
Support smooth day-of operations through preparation and communication.

Communication

Act as the point of contact for coaches and parents.
Manage and respond to emails and questions, escalating when necessary.
Release and manage scheduling updates.
Ensure all player waivers are submitted.
Provide timely updates on location or game changes.

Billing & Invoicing

Track payments and ensure all teams are billed correctly.

Maintain organized financial records for events and leagues.
Organization & Support

Keep all event-related documents and materials organized for the owners.

Be available on Saturdays during events for quick communication via Slack/text if needed. Not required to work unless a quick project, just must be available for quick questions.

Must-Haves
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple moving pieces.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Comfortable using Slack, text, and basic digital tools.
Dependability and proactive problem-solving.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Experience managing or operating sports leagues/events.
Background working with basketball programs, youth sports, or related organizations.
