Location: All work is Remote (headquarters in Charleston, SC)

We empower ambitious mothers through strategic systems, digital tools, and signature offerings like Time Alchemy, the Family Virtual Assistant Institute, and The Grid. As the founder & CEO balances a full-time career in medicine and family life, we’re seeking a virtual business manager to keep the business engine running—while leaving space for creativity, impact, and growth.
Scope of Work
We’re looking for a proactive, experienced & highly organized business manager to step in and take ownership of day-to-day operations with a focus on four core areas:
1. Digital Products & Subscriptions
• Oversee performance and delivery of all digital products (ConvertKit, Squarespace, etc.)
• Manage customer access, troubleshoot delivery issues, and track subscriber metrics
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows or automate fulfillment
2. Financial Oversight
• Monitor and track monthly income/expenses across platforms (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
• Maintain a dashboard of key financial metrics
• Coordinate with accountant as needed
3. Team Oversight
• Manage communication and task follow-up with existing part-time or freelance team members with the goal of letting them flex their creative energy
• Organize project timelines, weekly task check-ins, and deliverable tracking
• Ensure deadlines are met and responsibilities are clear
4. Social Media Planning
• Create a cohesive weekly content calendar in collaboration with the founder
• Oversee post scheduling, analytics, and basic engagement tracking with social media team
• Coordinate with content creators
Ideal Candidate
• Has 2+ years experience as an Online Business Manager, Project Manager, or Ops Lead.
• Familiar with platforms like Google Workspace, Squarespace, Quickbooks, and Canva
• Financially literate and comfortable tracking revenue + expenses
• Comfortable taking ownership, being independent & proactive, and presenting clear updates with minimal handholding
• Understands the rhythm and brand voice of modern, purpose-driven online businesses. Advocate for women in every walk of life.
Time Commitment
~10–20 hours/week
Flexible schedule with occasional check-ins via GoogleMeet
Compensation
$35–$45/hour depending on experience
(Of note: will plan a 1 month trial period to ensure a good mutual fit with formal contract thereafter)
