Our team is spread across the USA and you need to be able to own your role and work alone but as part of a team. We are looking for people who get stuff done, ask questions when need be but take ownership of projects. You must be able to put the client’s expectations first and not be scared away by our crazy entrepreneurial clients.

Summary and responsibilities

We are looking for an Indianapolis Event Producer Specialist. This person will be responsible for:

Delivering monthly events for our client which exceed member expectations and stay within budget. This will include but not limited to – location sourcing, catering sourcing, negotiation of the contracts with vendors, managing the speaker requirements are met, AV sourcing and all the components of running an excellent event.
Working with the client to implement their vision for each event.
Executing 3 membership recruitment events per year to grow the chapter.
Support the chapter manager and chapter administration team by providing all the event information in a timely manner to be shared with the chapter members.
Be the eyes and ears on the ground for the chapter for us – alerting the team of any potential issues with members.
Properly escalating unresolved issues to appropriate people
Prioritizing, planning and managing several learning event at one time
Coordinating with the Chapter Administrator all invitation, PR, registration pages, event announcements and newsletters.
Documenting events in the form of notes for team use
Qualifications and core competencies

At least 1 years of Event planning experience.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Comfortable working with technology including but not limited to Excel, Word, Dropbox, Slack, Gmail
Additional skills preferred
Canva Design proficiency
ClickUp proficiency
Live in the Indianapolis Area as must be at in-person at events
Worked with remote team previously

This exciting part-time contract position will report to our Chief Detail Whisperer.
