Overview
The Accounting Associate is responsible for performing accounting and analysis functions (such as recording transactions, preparing reconciliations, account research & analysis, financial modeling and the like) for various not-for-profit and for-profit clients. Previous experience working inside an organization’s accounting function is PREFERRED.
The minimum requirement for this position is to be an EXPERT in Excel and QuickBooks, and excited to learn new things and share them with us. You MUST have a degree in accounting. If you don’t know something, you enjoy figuring it out.
The PERFECT person would also know (or be excited to learn):
· QuickBooks, QBO, Sage, NetSuite, INTAACT, among others
· How ERP & Payroll systems impact financial systems
· Asana and Teams

The ideal candidate would also have previous experience working with a consulting group or an organization’s accounting function, and have maximum work overlap with the Eastern time zone.
