We’re hiring a Marketing Strategist who can help us develop a roadmap for critical projects.

The team you’d be working with is comprised of seasoned marketers, so the right candidate will have to bring insightful work to an already high-performing team. Tacticians will not be a good fit for this role, we are looking for a strategist who can produce clever ideas for larger business actions.

We have several projects coming up in the next year which will require significant strategy work to be done for them to be successful. We need to be able to orient this person, define the core elements together, then have them flush out the strategy from there.

Understand The Scope, Define Success

  • Orient quickly to our brand, marketing infrastructure, and vision
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of current channels
  • Assist in articulating OKRs

Marketing Initiatives Ideation 

  • Facilitate key initiatives to achieve project goals
  • Bring fresh insights to the conversation
  • Serve as a sounding board for marketing initiatives
  • Identify larger strategic opportunities for the business to develop

Channel Development

  • Assist in defining new channels and estimating impacts
  • Scope out requirements for hand-off to specialists

Strategic Planning & Road Mapping

  • Develop comprehensive strategies
  • Document strategies in actionable ways
  • Define timelines, dependencies, assets, etc.


Role Type: Contract – 1099

Hours: Paid trial project, then bill hourly, but flexible schedule

Compensation: $20 to $50 per hour based on ability to perform the role

Location: 100% remote – Requires high speed internet connection, laptop with video camera for meetings, Microsoft Office
