Overview

We’re looking for an Online Business Manager to manage the day-to-day business operations, as well as implement strategic direction and prioritize activities for the business. Our ideal candidate is experienced, analytical, intellectual, energetic and a self-starter. This is a part-time contract position (approximately 20 hours per week) and has the potential to be a work-from-home full-time employee for the perfect fit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Management – keep day-to-day operations on track. Analyze, streamline and simplify processes; Manage weekly email messages by establishing and implementing a publication and promotion schedule; manage email lists and segmentation; create professional email templates and sequences, manage solo email emails to list and coordinate with all clients, members of programs, and affiliates.
Project Management – make sure things happen on time, and communicate status. Utilize project management planning experience and SamePage to manage all projects are on time and on budget. Assign team members to projects as agreements are executed.
Marketing Management – Manage email marketing management; Oversee management of websites; Manage social media management for clients and Socially Polished; Review and update all autoresponders; Review and update lead magnets and programs
People Management – communicate clearly, supervise others, answer questions and provide guidance; Monitor the team for growth or reassignment of tasks; Spearhead any openings by completing a job posting and coordinating interviews; Make a contingent verbal offer to the applicant and follow up with a written offer along with appropriate releases; conduct a minimum of (3) references for successful incumbent; conduct a background check for successful incumbent; Onboard new team members with any NDAs/Confidentiality agreements; Establish proper Learning & Development processes and manage reviews along with introduction to proper performance management timelines.
Manage contractor budget and maintain the Socially Polished culture

Metrics Management – report the numbers. Create weekly and monthly metrics tracking system to use to make informed business decisions; Analyze metrics and discuss trends during monthly strategy sessions with CEO
Revenue Streams Management – Manage completion of books, workbooks, multimedia products, membership programs, virtual events, live events and coaching programs. In addition, manage the setup of applications and software for customer service and product fulfillment. Will also be responsible for analyzing revenue of income stream to determine necessary steps.
Launch Management – Work with CEO to develop a launch strategy, establish promotion schedule, work with team members, oversee projects and manage all internal and third-party teams to ensure products/services are delivered effectively and on-time, provide ad-hoc support

The ideal person will start off on a trial project and be evaluated once that project has been completed successfully. Compensation will depend on experience.
