JOB SUMMARY

This position is under the supervision of the National Accounts Manager.  Number one priority is to generate leads and increase sales for the company in the Northeast Region off the country (Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia).  This position is a member of the leadership team to help develop overall sales strategies for the company.

Working remotely, with some travel.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1.     Generate revenue by building and maintaining customer relationships in the assigned region through phone, email, Zoom, face-to-face sales visits/meetings, exhibiting at industry trade shows, and hands-on interactive demonstrations/workshops.

2.     Implement and assist CEO and National Accounts Manager in developing comprehensive sales strategies.

3.     Attend meetings and contribute to strategies and initiatives that will help achieve the overall goals of the company.

4.     Verbalize a consistent message of the brand created by the company with customers through email, phone calls, trade shows, and demonstrations, and or workshops.

5.     Understands and supports the company’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.

6.     Actively identify customer needs and ensure profitable solution-based selling to increase revenue and create value-added customer relationships.

7.     Implement sales systems and strategies.

8.     Collaborate with CEO and National Accounts Manager to establish and execute a sales goal for the region.

9.     Assist Skillastics After School Specialists or Skillastics Demonstrators as directed by the CEO or National Accounts Manager.

10.  Actively and aggressively generate new sales of all company products.

11.  Actively and aggressively generate new leads and/or research potential sales sources.

12.  Attend trade shows and conferences, networking and generating leads with potential customers.

13.  Prepare and present to customers proposals to include required quotes and/or assessments of their needs.

14.  Assist Bookkeeper in securing potential customers on approved vendor lists.

15.  Follow up with existing customers via telephone, email, or personal contact.

16.  Deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers as needed.

17.  Present workshops at conferences, conventions, or tradeshows as needed.

18.  Process and organize customer information on a company computer software system (CRM) in an efficient manner.

19.  Identify and maintain contact with potential and existing customers as required.

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Knowledge of:

Modern office practices, procedures, and computer software.

Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite

Principles and practices of an organization, planning, records management, and general administration.

Effective telephone/zoom communication skills.

 

Ability to:

Motivated by commission sales. (Work above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done).

Analyze, problem-solve, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.

Comfortable presenting or speaking in front of an audience.

Strong networking skills.  (Loves to talk and meet people).

Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas.

Work as a team member, as well as work independently for the good of the company.

Effectively communicate orally and in writing in English especially as relates to carrying out instructions, assisting customers and vendors, and completing tasks assigned by the CEO or National Accounts Manager.

Establish and maintain an effective filing system.

Comfortable, disciplined, and organized working from home.

Build, manage, and forecast your own sales pipeline.

Provide effective sales presentations by demonstrating the Skillastics® program and products.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree
One to two (1-2) years experience working in After School programs
Two (2) years prior sales experience
Passionate about physical activity and has knowledge of fitness and sports (preferably played a sport in high school or college).
Passion for helping kids on a national scale.

 

COMPENSATION

1.     Base: $50,000, plus commission

2.     Commission Percentage levels, based on revenue goals.  (Could be making 6 figures in 2 years or less)!

3.     401K after 1-year employment

4.     Three Weeks’ Vacation plus Christmas week off.
