Overview

We are seeking to hire an organized and communicative dispatcher to work with us part-time, with potential to move into a full-time position as we grow. Applicants must have previous experience in a logistics & operations role. An ideal candidate will fulfill the following criteria:

  • Have previous experience in an operations & logistics role.
  • Local to NYC and have a level of familiarity with routing, traffic patterns, etc.
  • Have a very high degree of organization
  • Attentive to last minute changes in the schedule and communicative with Raeri staff and drivers about these changes.
  • Able to work and thrive in fast-moving and changing environments.
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role, interacting with raeri clients, recipient partners, and drivers.
  • Comfortable with using technology.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Uploading daily schedules into Raeri internal logistics system.
  • Supervising daily schedule while pickups and deliveries are occurring.
  • Monitoring and communicating changes to drivers, Raeri staff, and other concerned parties.
  • Handling, assigning and monitoring ad-hoc deliveries and ensuring smooth logistics.
  • Facilitating reroutes and reassignments based on driver schedules.
  • Communicating and facilitating schedule cancellations and changes.
  • Being a point of contact for drivers, customers, and recipient partners while deliveries are occurring.
