Overview

Email Marketing Specialist

Date of Job Posting:  9/24/19

Work Schedule:                 Flexible (part-time, anticipated 15 to 25 hours per week)

Location:                             Telecommuting

As the Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll create and send email marketing campaigns that are designed to engage our target audience and keep us top-of-mind with our customer base. This is a great opportunity for a work-at-home mom or anyone else who desires the flexibility of working remotely.

If you’re a creative type with a real flair for communication and design, then you’ll love this position.  On any given day, you might:

  • Create an email campaign advertising a new product for our engineering clientele
  • Write a series of emails designed to follow-up with potential partners or clients
  • Design an A/B test of an email subject line, and then implement the results into future campaigns
  • Locate the best possible stock photograph to illustrate this month’s email newsletter
  • Tweak the copy of an existing campaign to better fit the audience

This job might be for you if:

  • You communicate clearly.  You write well.  You understand how to use email design to enhance the message you are trying to convey.
  • You pay attention to the details.  As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time.  You stay focused, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • You enjoy the challenge of working on multiple projects. You can understand the creation of multiple marketing concepts for use in multiple business units … and your work maintains the identity of each business unit.
  • You like learning new things, and you want to learn something from anything you do.  You are committed to testing email campaigns and using the data to guide future campaigns.
  • You are motivated and driven.  You are able to work efficiently in a remote setting with little to no oversight. You pride yourself in your accomplishments and production of good work.

While this position does not require a specific degree or training, be prepared to show us that you understand basic concepts of effective marketing and email advertising, and that you are able to produce high-quality work while meeting deadlines and changing priorities.

The position is a long-term part-time position. It is not a “one-shot, one project gig.” Instead, we’re looking for someone with talent who prefers to work flexible part-time hours on a remote basis while still meeting deadlines and becoming a part of the team.

Apply today by sending your resume, a cover letter, and samples of your work to  careers@pdhengineer.com.
