Overview

Are you an attorney with a great pedigree (good law school, big law experience, etc.) who is just not interested in the big law grind? Do you love practicing law, but hate law firm politics? Are you looking for something interesting and challenging to do that’s actually WORTH the time you spend away from your kids, family and other stuff you love?

Ok, then let’s talk.

I’m a former big-law attorney, and now have my own growing practice. With more work than I can handle and having to turn away amazing potential clients, I need some help — preferably someone as nerdy about corporate law (securities, M&A, corporate governance and commercial contracts) as I am, who wants to work on a flexible schedule but is 100% committed to getting the job done.

I’m flexible about whether you fall into either of the following categories: (1) getting back into the workforce, perhaps after taking some time off to spend with the kids, and eventually wanting to build up your own book of business but needing a good place to start, or (2) wanting to put your finely honed legal skills to work, and can commit a certain number of hours per week/month, but probably never want to go back to the hustle of business development (i.e. happy to stay in a service-attorney role indefinitely).

If ANY of the above speaks to you, let’s chat. I’m also open to hiring an amazing, experienced paralegal — of the sort that can draft first drafts of documents and is thoroughly comfortable with corporate governance things like board resolutions, etc.

This role is part-time to start, but could become full-time for the right person if things go well.
