Due to great growth in the current economic climate, We are looking for an experienced Accountant to play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our organization. You will helping mold our ERP and data acquisition programs to gather timely and accurate financial data to help monitor and gauge the financial performance of the company.  Routinely, you’ll be performing various accounting functions, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports to support informed decision-making within the company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and deep experience in financial software development to meet company goals. We are a flexible organization looking for someone open to working a fully remote project based schedule to meet the needs of the organization.  This is a part-time role that requires the candidates to be available through phone, instant messages and emails at scheduled times.

Objectives of this Role

·         Create new and robust financial processes that support the current and future needs of the business

·         Work with team to continuously update/tailor financial reporting tools and reports through software development efforts to provide concise information to support critical business decisions

·         Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

·         Conduct financial analysis, review variances, and identify trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for cost reduction and profit maximization.

·         Perform inventory accounting, including monitoring inventory levels, calculating costs, and analyzing variances.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording and allocation of manufacturing costs.

·         Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing input and analysis to support decision-making.

·         Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

·         Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving any audit findings or discrepancies.

·         Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred. • Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications (particularly Excel). • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a must. Preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision • Experience in successful implementation of financial software tools such as ERPs. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and financial reporting. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
