Overview

We are looking for a Software Product Manager to work with new and existing clients.

We help organizations of all sizes position, build, and optimize their technology and services and remove the dissonance between the problems that users need solved and the solutions that businesses build and sell. Our clients are often nonprofits whose products help drive social impact.

Responsibilities
-Work with clients to understand the goals of their business and the problems their products and services solve.
-Meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss their goals, provide progress updates, learn about new issues and requests, perform discovery, etc.
-Perform detailed discovery with clients to understand the problems being solved, operational flows, and needs for software features
-Perform QA testing as needed
-Write simple and concise user stories
-Write detailed and clear product requirements documents
-Manage and prioritize product development backlogs for multiple products
-Work with developers, project managers, UX researchers, and management teams to ensure the best possible products are delivered to clients.
-Communicate promptly and effectively

Tools
-Google suite of products
-Figma or other design tools
-Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Jira, or other project management tools

Skills
-Fluent in English
-Very responsive
-Excellent written communication skills
-Strong attention to detail is critically important
-Very thorough in their work and pays very close attention to details (no typos or grammar errors in written copy)
-Strong understanding of software development processes, coding languages, development environments, etc. You don’t need to be a coder, but you need to understand how it’s done!
-Some experience with project management, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with multiple stakeholders working in remote locations,
-Ability to keep track of schedules and progress and help the team adapt to changing needs and timelines.

Other Details
-Expect up to 30 hours per week. You can be anywhere in the world, but you’ll need to have working hours overlap with the United States Eastern Time Zone (GMT -5).
-No guaranteed minimum, this is part-time work that comes and goes based on our client’s needs.
-Paid Hourly.
-We are looking for someone with a mix of experience and value.
