Overview

We are looking for an experienced PR / Booking Assistant to join the team. In this role you’ll be responsible for increasing our visibility through podcast interviews, guest teaching, masterclasses, and more!

You’ll spend your time with us researching ideal podcast hosting, program hosts, and groups where our ideal clients are already gathered. Once you’ve located a great fit you’ll reach out to pitch us as a guest.

Here’s what that looks like in the day-to-day…

What You’ll Do:

Visibility related tasks, including:

Podcast Pitching

  • 15 pitches per month, more if needed
  • research
  • outreach
  • follow-up including thank you’s/referral requests
  • scheduling interviews
  • coordinating with other team members for scheduling, promotions, and project management, as needed
  • GOAL: 4 Interviews booked per month

Guest Expert Opportunity Pitching

  • 5 pitches per month, if less than 5, then additional podcast pitches will be sent so that the total number of pitches is no less than 20
  • research
  • outreach
  • follow-up including thank you’s/referral requests
  • scheduling interviews
  • coordinating with other team members for scheduling, promotions, and project management, as needed
  • GOAL: 2 Guest Expert events booked per month

Industry Opportunity Pitching

  • 2-3 pitches per month, as opportunities arise
  • research to find ideal locations where our ideal clients are already gathered
  • outreach to make the initial connection
  • follow-up including thank you’s/referral requests
  • scheduling interviews/masterclasses/guest teaching
  • coordinating with other team members for scheduling, promotions, and project management, as needed
  • GOAL: 2 Industry Opportunities booked per month

Giveaway Coordination

  • as they arise

Visibility Outreach Admin

  • maintaining ClickUp workflow board
  • adding all visibility opportunities to the Media Exposure list with links and files as needed
  • consulting how to leverage podcasts to generate leads
  • attending monthly team zoom meetings
  • availability on Voxer and Slack

Other visibility related tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a PR Assistant, Social Media Assistant, Podcast Booking Assistant, or other related position
  • Facility with words… your communications skills, both written and verbal, are excellent
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Drive)
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and Analyzing Results
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and self-direction
  • A high tolerance for puns + gifs

Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience.

The position is part-time starting with the opportunity to increase based on deliverables and meeting goals.

This role is primarily a work-from-home, subcontractor position. This role reports directly to our CEO.
