We are a fast-growing media company in the craft and DIY space based out of the U.S. We are looking to hire a rock-star team manager on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. You’ll lead a team of 14-16 people and will report to the Operations Director. We’ll also be looking for opportunities to help you advance your career and reach your own personal and career goals.

Success in this role

Must be extremely organized and have experience managing a team. You will be required to be flexible and to keep up with the pace of our business. Key responsibilities – you’ll be in charge of managing our team, providing them with guidance, overseeing that jobs are on track and completed on time, communicating new initiatives, and updates to the team on a daily basis. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Team leadership – lead and be accountable for making sure everyone on the team is staying on track and meeting the deadlines and expectations
  • Culture Building – working with your teammates to maintain an environment that is positive, collaborative, forward-thinking and flexible with the company’s standards and end goal always top of mind
  • Communication – daily communication with the team helping them address any questions or issues they may have
  • Reporting – keeping an eye on any potential problems or opportunities you see in the team and their roles in our business – reporting your findings and suggestions to the Operations Director
  • Systems – Review current systems and communication within the business and when possible suggest improvements and efficiencies
