Description

Responsible for listening to Clients’ testimonial to convey a complete understanding of the situation they were going through to provide the context for the incidents at large. They will be responsible of following guidelines to help prove to US Citizens Immigration Services that the Client meets the criteria for the case in question. This includes being aware of the requirements and the details that can be important to provide context for the incidents that occurred.

Primary Job Duties

-Contact and interview scheduled Clients by phone to gather the information for the Declarations
-Convert the information they’ve acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to specific procedures, guidelines and templates
-Develop well-prepared client declarations and submit to Leader for review.
-Translate Client’s declaration to English
-Revise their work based on Leader and/or Attorney’s feedback

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Required: -Must be Bilingual - Native Bilingual Proficiency (English/Spanish). -Two or more years of Case Management or Customer Service -Experience Interviewing and Translating -Experience writing Reports Preferred: -Associate's Degree in Social and Behavioral Science or Sociology (or other 2-year degree) or the equivalent combination of education and experience. -Two or more years of immigration practice experience. -Two or more years of Humanitarian Visa experience. Knowledge -English Language - (Native level) Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. -Spanish Language - (Native Level) Knowledge of the structure and content of the Spanish language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. -Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
