Position Description

The Transaction Coordinator role requires an individual who is able to pay very close attention to detail and get required information from clients and customers. You will be working with multiple accounts, handling inbound calls and making outbound calls, doing property research, and more. You will be handling the deal flow for real estate transaction from the beginning of the acquisition through closing and sale.

Previous real estate experience is not required, we would love to train the right person! We’re looking for a self-starter, not someone who waits to be told what to do. Our goal is to hire the right person for long-term employment. This position has quite a bit of growth potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Transaction Coordinator

  • Handle inbound calls, follow account specific procedures, and enter appropriate information where required. Take any follow up actions that you are trained for, otherwise escalate to Account Manager.
  • Processes new properties for clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols.
  • Research and work with agents and brokers to get property listing opinions for our clients, perform diligent and consistent follow up, record and enter this information in the appropriate platform for that customer.
  • Communicates with other team members constructively in order to reduce conflict and enhance the resolution of issues.
  • Respects client dignity and confidentiality.
  • Come to work on time (remote role) and ready to work, communicate effectively using company communication tools.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Project management experience and a proven track record in meeting deadlines. Ability to work alone on projects.
  • Good communication via phone/email.
  • This position requires daily consistent organization and phone work in front of a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, fax machines and others.
  • Displays the ability to communicate with others effectively, listen closely and convey points clearly.
  • Shows proficiency with technology and computer programs which may include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others.
  • Upbeat personality, demonstrates excellent customer service skills and the ability to calm partners and potential sellers who may be distraught.
  • Shows the ability to calm frustrated individuals quickly and make decisions based upon anticipated outcomes.
  • Possesses the ability to adjust to changing workloads.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ideal: one to two years’ experience working within a customer service role answering phones, gathering and entering data.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, but communication is highly essential within the team on designated communication platforms. We strive to maintain a positive and encouraging dynamic and the candidate should be able to continue that.

Hours
This is 40 hours/week Monday – Friday remote role.

Salary
This role is paid between $18 and $21 an hour, DOE. This is a 1099 contract position, medical/dental benefits are not included.

Qualifications

Skilled at using office suite, google suite, CRM platforms, and e-mail. Should be comfortable making phone calls to sellers, buyers, title companies, and county offices as needed.
