Overview

We are a small real estate company that buys vacant land. We are looking for a purchasing assistant who can estimate property values (we will teach you how), do research on markets, and negotiate with sellers.

In this role, we will ask you to find a time once per day to review leads and make phone calls. Most of this work is time-flexible, and you can set your own hours.

You will collaborate with a small team, including the purchasing manager and owner of the company. This is a great way to learn the real estate business without taking a course or investing your own money. Financial incentives will be part of your compensation in addition to your hourly rate after a 90-day trial period.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing incoming property leads
  • Estimating potential sales price of properties
  • Updating tasks in the tracking tool
  • Gathering information about markets by calling county offices and realtors
  • Calling potential sellers and building rapport
  • Preparing and sending contracts
  • Negotiating purchase prices
  • Making follow-up calls
  • Attending team meetings
