Overview

Our tax and bookkeeping firm is looking for a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our growing team. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for communicating with clients about the tax preparation process, setting appointments, and assisting with tax preparation and filing. Our company handles personal state and federal returns, and provides commercial tax support to small businesses. If you have experience with Tax Preparation, please contact us today. This would be a great position for a college student currently studying in Accounting, or a Mom looking to make some extra money during tax season. We are located in Waller, TX, and the majority of our client base is in the Waller area; however, we all work remotely, and have a virtual office.

Part-Time. 15-20 hours a week. If there are tax returns in, you can work on your own time to get them entered in and ready for review. This is a seasonal position until all the tax returns are complete. We usually get busy starting in February through April, then we have a bunch of people who file extensions, so July – September also is a slow steady of tax returns coming in.  Could turn into a PT or FT position if the employee is willing to do bookkeeping in the “off-season”.
