Overview

What You’ll Do

Oversee various marketing initiatives and disciplines — from content development (XX) to social media and email marketing, WordPress site management, event marketing, partner marketing, marketing processes and efficiencies, campaign monitoring/measurement, internal communications and more.

Set the marketing strategy for FSFP, planning, measuring and executing much of the work.

Manage a small marketing staff consisting of a full-time employee, several freelancers and the occasional summer intern, ensuring their collective energies and output align with FSFP’s marketing goals and associated deliverables.

Be responsible for the planning, creation and development of broad, outbound (and certain internal) email communications, marketing and sales collateral, content (guides, white papers, etc.), blog articles, case studies, social content, videos and more.

Be both a strategist and a strategic tactician with the ability to shift between these roles on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis.

Adapt to internal and external factors that may require adjusting or changing Marketing’s plans and priorities.

Function as the marketing point-of-contact internally and externally with key industry partners and vendors.

What You Should Have

5+ years of marketing/communications experience (management experience is a strong plus)

Experience working in the information/data management industry or a consulting firm is a strong plus

Bachelor’s (or higher) degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, tactics and branding

Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics in an easy-to-understand way

Program management background in planning, executing and measuring marketing initiatives (experience in event planning/management or in co-marketing initiatives is a plus)

Creatively wired with a drive to be innovative and forward-thinking

Strong leadership, communication and collaboration abilities

Exceptional analytic, problem-solving, time management, technical, prioritization and organizational skills

Self-directed, initiative-taking work style

Attention to detail and a focus on high-quality work
