You will work from home, part-time, doing online research to seek qualified event venues and professionals in your area, then offer these businesses a free listing at first. If the client signs up at the end of the free trial period, you get a commission.

Qualifications
Self-motivated is the most important trait, and being non-threatening and pleasant to deal with is the second-most important. Must have a natural curiosity about everything, and a willingness to learn about the corporate event industry if you don't already have some knowledge of it. This is also important - if your former job before you became a mom was more high-powered than "just" corporate events, please be honest about whether you can take this job earnestly and enthusiastically.
