MISSION: Ensure the company remits and receives payments on time and in the correct amounts and has the cash available to make payments. Free up owner to focus on business development.
Outcomes:
1. Improve margins by reducing spend leakage to near zero.
- Administrate Accounts Payable and Receivable to pay and receive invoices on time in the right amounts.
- Work with bookkeeper to ensure all charges coming through credit card are legitimate.
- Monitor & Review P&L to challenge expenses and/or recommend ways to improve margins.
2. Ensure we never run out of cash. Maintain and update our Cash Flow Statement. Report on status weekly (Like balancing a checkbook)
3. Track and Report on our Financial Health (can grow into this)
- Analyze our ROWC (Return on Working Capital) per product, Inventory Turns (owner will show you) and other key metrics.
- Think critically on how to improve financial heath of company and bring recommendations to team.
- Participate in strategic meetings to gain context and provide insight.
4. Take as much as possible off the owner’s plate
- Supervise bookkeeper – and meet with him bi-weekly – to categorize items onto the P&L correctly.
- Create wires for approval
- The driving purpose of this position is to free the owner up to grow the business. So it can grow to include project management or executive assistant responsibilities.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
● Part time (20-30 hours), remote, 1099 employment
● Hours: The right person does not need to be given work hours. But our team meetings are generally somewhere between 7:00am-10:00am Pacific Time M-T.
