About the Firm and the Mission:
We are a boutique Illinois law firm disrupting the traditional legal model. We focus on amicable divorce solutions and My Illinois Court Navigator™, a suite of attorney-guided self-help legal tools built to close the access to justice gap.
We have built the tools. Now we need a high-energy intrapreneur to drive statewide adoption and scale this brand into the dominant legal self-help resource in Illinois.
The Role:
As the Growth and Legal Operations Associate, you are the engine behind our lead generation and the architect of our internal scaling systems. This is not a role where you will be trained on the fundamentals. You will be handed a vision, a set of tools, and a mission—and you will be expected to build the execution plan, run it, and report results. Attorney Stitt focuses on the legal work; you own the work specific to this role.
What You Will Do:
Navigator Growth & Lead Gen: Drive high-velocity client growth through targeted digital marketing (IG, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google) and build our email infrastructure from the ground up.
Institutional Ecosystem Expansion: Secure deep-rooted referral partnerships with Illinois libraries, bar associations, and community hubs across the Chicago metro (including North Shore/Evanston/Skokie) and downtown.
Navigator Product Coordination: Project-manage the rollout of new products and maintain the Navigator University™ resource libraries.
Digital Brand Management: Manage and grow all firm channels (YouTube, Instagram, Google Business) and write all growth-focused copy.
Internal Systems & Operations: Build and document the internal systems for how the firm handles Navigator submissions—intake workflow, file organization, and MyCase process standardization—designed to scale seamlessly.
Job Overview
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing, brand growth, or marketing operations. We prioritize a track record of results over years in a seat.
Early Career Applicants: We are happy to consider you, but instead of a standard cover letter, we want to see your vision. Tell us exactly what you would do in your first 90 days to grow the firm and the Navigators. Show us your plan, not just your passion. This role requires autonomy.
Tech Literacy: Ability to figure out new digital tools independently and manage a "hands-free" growth engine (Email automation, CRM, etc.).
Communication: Strong written skills—you write copy that moves people to action.
Self-Direction: You see a blank canvas and get to work without daily supervision.
Attention to Detail: In a legal environment, precision is non-negotiable.
Location: Illinois residency strongly preferred; familiarity with Chicago/North Shore, and suburban communities is a meaningful advantage.
Required Skills
Benefits & Perks
Base Salary: $40,000 guaranteed | Total Compensation: $40,000 to $130,000+ based on performance
The $40,000 base is guaranteed. Everything above it is earned through results. The bonus structure is tiered and uncapped — tied directly to Navigator client conversions and institutional partnerships attributed to your efforts. A solid performer realistically earns $59,000 to $90,000 in total compensation. A top performer earns $130,000 and above. There is no ceiling.
Performance Bonuses: Uncapped, tiered monthly bonuses based on Navigator conversions and partnership success.
Career Growth: Clear "Contract-to-Core" path to join firm leadership.
Impact: Direct involvement in a disruptive legal-tech mission closing the access to justice gap.
Remote / Field-Based Hybrid: This is a 90% remote role with high autonomy. However, since a core part of scaling the Navigators involves building institutional partnerships, occasional in-person outreach, community presentations, and team strategy sessions in the Chicago Metro/North Shore area are required as needed.
Base Increases: Scheduled performance-based raises every 6 months.
