Are you a former PR, Communications, or high-level Executive Assistant professional looking for intellectually stimulating, flexible project work?

I am the founder of a premium, private-pay psychiatric practice based in New York, catering strictly to high-net-worth (UHNW) professionals, executives, and founders. I am looking for a sharp, high-EQ B2B Outreach & PR Specialist to act as my growth engine.

This role is strictly 5-7 hours per week. You will not be doing standard VA admin work, managing calendars, or answering customer service emails. Your sole focus is pure strategic communication: getting my practice in front of the right local referral partners and securing high-quality PR features. The hours are 100% flexible and asynchronous—work whenever it fits your schedule, as long as deadlines are met.

What You Will Do:

B2B Referral Matchmaking: Build highly targeted lists of local NY referral partners (boutique law firms, concierge medical practices, wealth managers) and write highly personalized, peer-to-peer cold emails to secure introductory networking calls for me.

Clinical Peer Networking: Monitor private, NY-based therapist Facebook groups for “overflow” referral requests that match our UHNW/executive niche. You’ll respectfully DM the referring therapist on my behalf with a premium “white-glove” introduction.

Digital PR Pitching: Monitor Connectively (formerly HARO) and Qwoted daily for relevant queries. Pitch me as a mental health/executive stress expert to top-tier journalists.

Podcast Booking: Identify and pitch niche NY/tri-state area podcasts or industry-specific shows (legal/medical/executive wellness) for guest appearances.

To Apply, Please Answer These Brief Questions:

Connectively/HARO is highly competitive. What is your strategy for writing a pitch that actually gets selected by a top-tier journalist on a tight deadline?

If I ask you to build a list of 20 high-end divorce attorneys in Long Island, what specific markers or criteria do you look for to ensure they actually cater to the UHNW market?

What appeals to you most about this specific role and schedule?

(Note: Top candidates will be invited to complete a 1-hour paid execution test prior to a formal interview to ensure our writing styles align).

Job Overview

Category: Marketing Public Relations
Experience Level: Senior Level
Salary: $20 - $40/hourly
Location: Remote US

Requirements

Who you are:
A Tone Chameleon: You likely have a corporate background. You know that pitching a Park Avenue wealth manager requires a vastly different tone than pitching a Forbes journalist or messaging a clinical peer. You write crisp, peer-level, non-salesy copy.

A Research Master: You don't just scrape generic lists. You find the "hook" (a recent award, a specific article) to make outreach feel bespoke.

Independent & Efficient: Because this is a 5-7 hour/week role, you manage your pipeline ruthlessly. You don't need hand-holding. Also, no AI is permitted as the goal is to create a real relationship not blast high volume work.

Attention to detail check: Please start your cover letter with the word "Blueberry" so I know you read this entirely.
