We’re a profitable, family-owned vacant land business, buying, selling and developing residential parcels throughout the state of Florida and with plans to expand to other regions.

We are seeking a friendly and professional person with an excellent telephone manner who can build rapport with both buyers and sellers and close deals! Core responsibilities include communicating and negotiating with buyers and sellers via telephone, text and email.

You will report directly to the Company President, who will train you and teach you everything you need to know. Part of the job is using user-friendly software, part of it is calls/texts/emails with buyer & seller leads, and part of it is understanding the features and values of different types of vacant land. You’ll need to have a mix of sales skills, people skills, organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

If we are a good fit, I would love for you to be on the team for many years. Working hours are flexible but total hours each week are expected to be 25 hours. Pay begins at $15-$20/hour plus bonuses. This is a 1099 position.

We are a small but successful land flipping firm. We do direct mail campaigns (supported by texting and telephone calls) to acquire land at a discount from sellers who live far away and have no use for the land. After purchasing, we list it and sell it for 80-100% of market value. The best way to describe it is this: we buy from the people who see it as trash, and sell it to the people who see it as treasure. Sometimes we do nothing to the land and sell it on quite quickly, and other times we will add significant value over 6-9 months before selling to a local developer. It is a dynamic business model where everyone wins.

I am the owner (Colin), and I currently have 2 full time virtual assistants. You would be our fourth team member! I have been working full time in the real estate industry since 2003, have personally bought and sold more than $120m worth of real estate and absolutely love what I do.

Some facts about me are the following: I am originally from Ireland, lived in Tampa Florida for many years and currently manage CGM Land (a Florida Corporation) remotely from Madrid Spain. I believe that the combination of remote working and running my own business has given me the best of both worlds. Or to phrase it another way, freedom of money and freedom of location are equally important to me. My wife is Spanish and I have two beautiful children aged 13 and 11. When I'm not doing deals and networking with fellow real estate professionals, I love to exercise, read, play golf and take interesting family vacations!
