Overview
We are looking for a fundraiser for our new “STEM Stars Are Readers!” initiative. We are a nonprofit but we are establishing a partnership with a for-profit (actually, a certified B-Corp) that designed reading software for us to use with our K-8 coding, applied mathematics, and design-engineering students. So we will be seeking both nonprofit grants and equity investors.
About
The CA Math & Science Challenge! is a nonprofit dedicated to providing curriculum, teacher training, & ongoing professional development for K-8 Schools in underserved communities who wish to create Early Learning Advantage™ robotics-based sTEm programs.
Qualifications
That ideal candidate would be a former teacher with a strong interest in math, science and reading education… who is also comfortable with budgets. The rest you can learn, but if you’re interested in the job please be able to discuss the difference between for-profit, non-profit and certified b-Corp entities.
