Job Details:

We are currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeping professional to help with the upkeep and management of invoices, payments, payroll, and future fundraising. We have an outside Accountant who handles our taxes and consulting, but we are needing someone local who is flexible and willing to come into the office either on a part-time basis or a few days a week. The system we use is called Creative Solutions, and if you have experience with Quickbooks or any other accounting software it should be a quick learn.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping. Be flexible and willing to come into an office setting. Hard-working, extremely organized, and able to work with and manage outside vendors and payroll. Experience in the realm of a non-profit organization is a plus but not required.

About us: 

Blaze Kids Academy is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing children who have lost access to their parents a stable residential home and access to a high quality education and extra-curricular activities.  These children will be coming from rural parts of the United States, and will demonstrate an ability to be a high achieving student if given the right environment.  We are currently in the beginning stages of building and fundraising with our first group of residential students are slated to arrive in 2023.
