Overview

I am looking to hire an executive assistant to assist in the management and growth of my multi-faceted business, which includes a private healing practice, teaching at events & workshops, and content creation (e.g. books, podcasts, etc.). I am offering a long-term position starting at 10 hrs/wk (2 hours/day, which are flexible), with definite opportunity for increased hours as the business grows over the next 6-9 months. Immediate start date, $25/hr.

 

I. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Virtual assistant
  • Business development
  • Project management
  • Marketing & social media
  • Basic graphic design abilities (e.g. create basic images & graphics)
  • Customer service
  • Familiarity with the following software/apps is preferred, but not necessary:
    – Google Drive, Elegant Themes for WordPress (Divi theme), MailChimp, social media apps (FB, Instagram, Twitter), Hootsuite, Acuity, Calendly

 

II. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:

MARKETING

  • Set up & manage online advertising (Google Ad Words, FB, Yelp, etc.)
  • Set up & analyze website & advertising analytics (Google Analytics, etc)
  • Create & schedule monthly newsletters (MailChimp)
  • Reach out to potential teaching venues & serve as point of contact for events

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Set up & manage social media accounts
  • Create new posts for me to review and approve
  • Respond to comments and engage with audience

WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

  • Manage existing website (Divi Theme, from Elegant Themes for WordPress)
  • Draft & format website content (e.g. cropping images, drafting announcements, etc.)

PODCAST MANAGEMENT

  • Set up & manage podcast hosting services (Lisbyn/Podbean, iTunes, Google Play, etc.)
  • Work with podcast editor/producer and upload new episodes
  • Schedule podcast interviews
  • Execute automated transcription process (Apps: Temi, Google Drive, Evernote)

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

  • Find & manage independent contractors as needed (graphic designer, web developer, podcast producer, etc.)

PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

  • Be the point of contact for new & existing clients (respond to emails & calls)
  • Manage online scheduling software (App: Acuity)
  • Complete weekly online billing
  • Set up a system for requesting & posting client testimonials

ADMIN/GENERAL

  • Research, implement & manage appropriate software & workflows as needed
  • Book travel (both business and personal)
  • Schedule appointments (both business and personal)
  • Weekly 30-min Zoom video call with me to go over tasks, status, etc.

 

III. PERSONAL QUALITIES

  • Thorough & detail-oriented – a high priority!
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing & speaking
  • Self-motivated & “can-do” attitude for researching new solutions and implementing them
  • Good aesthetic sense for evaluating potential marketing photos & branding materials
  • Willingness to do both creative & administrative tasks

I work with people from all over the world through a combination of phone-based healing sessions, my monthly podcast, and in-person workshops, lectures, and retreats.

My primary offerings are 90-min, one-on-one phone sessions that include a tailored integration of interactive counseling, guided meditation, and Sat Nam Rasayan - a healing technique based in Kundalini Yoga. This unique combination offers a comprehensive approach to personal development and change by helping my clients get clear, go inward, and heal deeply.

In addition, I offer in-person workshops and retreats. Through a dynamic combination of group discussion, meditation, and healing techniques, these events aim to spark lasting change through the marriage of clear insight with deep experience.

The next phase for my offerings will entail packaging and distributing my content into a variety of media, including books, podcasts, and online courses.
