I am writing to express my interest in the posted position of Executive Virtual Assistant with Cherry Agency, LLC. I have been actively seeking a position like the one described, and believe that my qualifications and skills will be a great match.

I began my professional career more than 20 years ago, culminating in my appointment as Associate Director of Graduate Admissions of Simmons College in Boston in 2005. This position demanded strong interpersonal skills, since my responsibilities included meeting with prospective students, answering their questions, following up on applications and scheduled visits, and assisting them through application process. In addition to my admission and student service responsibilities, I was the sole designer of marketing material for the office, creating newsletters, flyers, advertisements, tri-folds and brochures. I worked closely with the marketing department to ensure that all pieces were on brand, and followed the process from concept to publication. I began working a part time schedule after the birth of my first child in 2007, dividing my work schedule between home and the office.

I resigned from that position in December of 2016, and am currently searching for a position that offers a strong work/life balance.

Described by my previous director as knowledgeable, proactive, savvy and thorough, my ability to work autonomously allowed me to continue with the same projects and responsibilities I held when I worked a more traditional schedule.

I am confident that my professional skills are an ideal match for this position, my personal skills will make me an asset to the Cherry Agency, and I will be great fit with your professional needs. I am very interested in your Executive Virtual Assistant position. I have vast experience in project management, social media, digital marketing and brand strategy.

I am most interested in your position because I believe I can be a successful contributor and asset to the team and assist Dr. Wentz with all that is required and more. I am passionate about helping others achieve success; whether that’s with managing schedules, coordinating events, problem-solving or using my digital skills and knowledge to advance their online efforts. I am exceptionally skilled at listening and then turning that into an action plan that can quickly be implemented to accomplish the necessary goals.

In this growing world of freelancers, there are many factors that set me apart from the other talent and experience out there, but the biggest is my discipline, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to understand your brand and represent your company to get the best return on your investment.

My ability to meet deadlines and work well with diverse teams and individuals have also contributed to my successes. And my passion for social media and digital marketing keeps me seeking the latest updates and best practices in the digital world.

I prefer to work with long-term clients due to the necessity of absorbing the brand, core values, and goals, but I’m open to short-term contracts as well.
