RE: Bookkeeping-Reviewer/Manager Position
Dear Mr. Kohn
I am thrilled to learn of the upcoming opening of your bookkeeping position. It is my pleasure to apply for this position as I am eager to broaden my career aspirations and change direction from my recent role as a community manager. I’ve recently taken some time off for the arrival of our second child and am more excited than ever to rejoin the workforce and contribute in a meaningful way. I have worked in and around customer service, administration and executive assistance for the better part of my working career. I’ve also had some experience (about two years) with QuickBooks during a bookkeeping position for a Real Estate firm from 2003-2005 (This position is a bit too far back to have earned a spot on my current resume.)
I enjoy the challenges of a fast paced environment and take great pride in maintaining high quality working relationships. I learn quickly and am determined to do excellent work, so the parts of this job that will require training will be picked up quickly. I have sustained high satisfaction, excel in team building and mentoring, and have successfully overseen and motivated staff to ensure that management’s goals as well as each of my employee’s goals are met and often exceeded. I work well with large amounts of responsibility, confidentiality, task management and organization.
Thank you for taking the time to review my skills and experience. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your culture and opportunity as well as answer any questions that you may have regarding my qualifications. Please feel free to contact me at the above referenced phone number or e-mail address. I sincerely look forward to hearing from y
