We’re big on year-round support, a judgment-free environment, and making finances make sense without the jargon. We are seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper. This is a contractor position who is self-driven and can work both independently and as a team.
We’re looking for an experienced bookkeeper to review general ledger work and provide light oversight and mentorship to an entry-level bookkeeper on our team. You’ll be a quality checkpoint — catching miscoded transactions, unreconciled accounts, and inconsistencies before books reach clients or tax prep.
What You’ll Do:
● Review general ledger for accuracy and completeness across multiple small business clients
● Review bank and credit card reconciliations
● Provide feedback and review points to the junior bookkeeper on the team
● Proactively identify accounting issues, documentation gaps, and system improvements
● Build and maintain SOPs, checklists, and repeatable workflows using form’s project management software
● Communicate directly with clients regarding document requests, reporting and close-related questions
● 1099 year-end compliance

Requirements
● Solid QuickBooks Online experience (1 year minimum required)
● Prior bookkeeping experience, ideally reviewing others' work, not just your own
● Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
● Strong attention to detail and clear and effective verbal and written communication
● Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities
