About the Job:
We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Personal Declaration Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting compelling and persuasive personal declarations submitted as part of humanitarian visa applications, accurately representing our clients’ experiences and eligibility for immigration relief.

This is a fully remote full-time position that will require about 35 to 40 hours of work per week. Regardless of location, you must be willing to work Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm EST.

Ultimately, success in the role of a Remote Client Declaration Writer can be measured in several ways:

Quality of Declarations: Success would entail producing high-quality, error-free personal declarations that accurately and persuasively convey the applicant’s experiences and eligibility for relief. Ensuring that the declarations comply with legal requirements and formatting guidelines is also essential.

Efficiency and Timeliness: Success involves efficiently managing multiple declaration appointments, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication with attorneys and clients. Being able to handle writing multiple declarations simultaneously while delivering high-quality work within established timelines is crucial.

IMPORTANT: Our clients are victims of human trafficking and domestic violence, and their declarations contain sensitive and often-times graphic incidents involving physical abuse, verbal abuse, and sexual assault. We are looking for someone who can handle listening to and reading through client stories containing sensitive and graphic information.

Responsibilities
Interview clients to gather relevant information about their experiences and circumstances – interviewing template is provided.
Draft clear, concise, and compelling personal declarations that effectively convey clients’ stories and support their eligibility for relief – template is provided.
Collaborate with attorneys and clients to review and revise client declarations as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and case details.
Manage writing projects independently, meet deadlines, and maintain clear communication with the team.

Work Context – FULLY REMOTE POSITION
You must have a remote work area free from noises and distractions.
This role requires sitting and working at a computer for long periods of time.

This role requires high-levels of concentration.
