As one of our trusted Resume Writers, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to support others in achieving their goal of a new job and navigating the job search incorporating your knowledge of the hiring process and writing abilities.

Resume Writer Duties:

Manage client projects to the final delivery of the client’s resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile.

Develop effective branding within resumes that position clients for the roles they are targeting.

Interface with clients via phone, email, or virtually. This is not a ghostwriting position.

Consult with clients on job-search-related questions throughout project.

Set client appointments using your own dedicated Savvy Career Pros(e) calendar and email address.

Skills and Attitude:

Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.

Confidence when speaking to professionals at the senior to executive level.

Ability to write and speak using proper English grammar.

Ability to empathize and a desire to provide value.

Curiosity.

Research skills. If you don’t know something, you know how and where to educate yourself so you can speak to your clients from a place of knowledge.

Ability to put pieces together that the client cannot.

Willingness to continuously improve.

Coachability.

Willingness to share knowledge with the team so each of us can grow from each other’s experience.

Must haves:

At least 10 years’ experience in talent acquisition or in a hiring role.

At least 5 years’ experience writing resumes for senior-level leaders and executives, 7+ years writing resumes in general.
