ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a financial consulting firm that focuses on helping social entrepreneurs grow their business. We’re a values driven company and are looking to make the world a better place through the companies we work with. We’re seeking an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Associate to join our growing team and serve our clients.

This role is client facing with numerous opportunities to grow within the firm as well as provide meaningful insights and value to our clients.

The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, possesses the capability to work independently, has strong attention to detail, and is able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices from suppliers and vendors.
  • Payment Management: Schedule and make payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding balances.
  • Vendor Communication: Address inquiries from vendors regarding payments and discrepancies.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures including 1099 filings.

Accounts Receivable

  • Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor incoming payments and record them accurately.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Collection: Follow up on overdue accounts and arrange for payment plans if necessary.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for.
  • Reporting: Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Payroll

  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance in partnership with our PEO partners.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave accruals.
