Virtual Assistant – Social Media and Marketing

 

I am looking for an organized and detail oriented Virtual Assistant to provide social media and marketing support for a small private psychotherapy practice with an intention to launch educational courses.

 

This is perfect for you if:

You’re a super Googler. You can find anything… quickly and efficiently
You like making lists…and checking off tasks makes you weirdly happy
You’re fast but thorough. Spelling mistakes make you cringe.
You love social media platforms, esp Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
You’re happy to be focused intensely on one project at a time without getting distracted
You love systems and like to batch and organize your work.
Bonus points if you have some visual marketing skills – ie. you can make simple graphics or make pictures look pretty
You don’t get bogged down in technical or creative rabbit holes. You figure it out and move on.
You can work independently without too much hand-holding as long as you have clear direction.
The tasks:

Creating engaging social media content from our existing content as well as finding supplementary content in specific categories.
Sourcing and uploading images or creating images in Canva.
Spell checking and minor editing.
Scheduling content into social media.
Newsletter creation.
Assistance with list building and maintenance.
Website updates/Blog postings

Position details:

This is a virtual contract based position. Work time is flexible as long as you hit agreed deadlines for content creation and delivery. You are responsible for your own taxes and insurance.

 

The time commitment is 3-8 hours per week with an opportunity for additional responsibilities and hours as we grow.

 

You must be available for occasional meetings weekly during the training period and then as needed.

 

You’re committed to honesty, loyalty, and taking ownership of what you say and do. You have a no-excuses, get it done attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in an administrative role Professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Highly proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar Familiarity with Squarespace, Convertkit, Mailchimp A confident, independent thinker and a practiced creative problem solver Highly accountable and responsible to drive projects to completion A motivated self-starter who recognizes when to seek out support
